Whether you’re looking for a wide fit horse saddle, Wintec wide saddle, all purpose English saddle, or a comfortable saddle for everyday riding, schooling and hacking, the Wintec 2000 Wide HART offers a practical solution for riders who need additional width without sacrificing adjustability.

Designed for Wide & Broad Horses

Finding the right saddle for a wide horse can be challenging. Horses with broad backs, low or flatter withers and more substantial body shapes require a saddle that accommodates their conformation without creating excessive pressure or restricting movement.

The Wintec 2000 Wide All Purpose HART has been specifically developed for wider horses. Its wide-fitting design provides greater room for the horse’s broader back while maintaining a balanced position for the rider.

If you’re searching for a saddle for wide horses, wide tree English saddle, all purpose saddle for broad-backed horses, or Wintec saddle for wide horses, the Wintec 2000 Wide is an excellent option to consider.

HART – Horse And Rider Technology

The Wintec 2000 Wide incorporates HART (Horse And Rider Technology), bringing together several technologies designed to enhance horse comfort, rider balance and saddle adjustability.

Depending on configuration, the HART system includes the CAIR Cushion System, EASY-CHANGE Gullet System, EASY-CHANGE Riser System, Elastiflex Tree and Performance Panel Technology.

Together, these technologies are designed to create a more adaptable saddle that can be adjusted as your horse’s shape changes through training, conditioning, age or seasonal weight fluctuations.

EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution

One of the major benefits of the Wintec 2000 Wide is its EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution. The system allows the saddle fit to be adjusted to accommodate changes in your horse’s shape.

The EASY-CHANGE Gullet System allows the tree width to be modified using interchangeable gullet plates, while the EASY-CHANGE Riser System allows additional adjustments to be made where appropriate.

This flexibility is particularly useful for horses that develop their topline through regular training or experience changes in body condition.

A professional saddle fitter should always assess the saddle to determine the appropriate configuration for your horse.

CAIR Cushion System

The CAIR Cushion System replaces conventional saddle-panel filling with air-filled cushions designed to provide a supportive and adaptive interface between the saddle and horse.

The air cushions are designed to distribute the rider’s weight over the panel area and adapt to the horse’s working muscles as they move.

For riders searching for a Wintec saddle with CAIR, air cushion horse saddle, or comfortable saddle for everyday schooling, CAIR technology provides an innovative approach to saddle cushioning.

Elastiflex Tree

The Elastiflex Tree is designed to combine stability with flexibility. Its rigid head helps maintain appropriate clearance around the withers while the flexible construction allows the saddle to work with the horse’s movement.

This is especially important when riding a wider horse, as saddle fit should provide sufficient clearance while allowing unrestricted movement through the shoulders and back.

Comfortable All Purpose Design

The Wintec 2000 Wide is designed as an all purpose saddle, making it suitable for riders who participate in a variety of equestrian activities rather than focusing exclusively on one discipline.

Its versatile design makes it suitable for:

• Everyday riding
• Flatwork
• Schooling
• Hacking
• Leisure riding
• Arena training
• General equestrian activities
• Introductory jumping

The all purpose configuration provides a practical balance between flatwork and general riding, making it an excellent choice for riders who want one versatile saddle for multiple activities.

Supportive Rider Position

The Wintec 2000 Wide All Purpose HART is designed to provide the rider with a comfortable and supportive seat. Its balanced configuration helps encourage an effective riding position while providing sufficient support for everyday schooling.

The saddle is particularly appealing to riders who want a secure yet versatile platform without the maintenance requirements associated with traditional leather saddles.

Lightweight & Easy-Care Synthetic Construction

One of the key advantages of a Wintec synthetic saddle is its easy-care construction. Synthetic materials are simple to clean and maintain, making the Wintec 2000 Wide particularly practical for riders who frequently ride outdoors or in wet and muddy conditions.

Instead of spending extensive time conditioning leather after every ride, riders can maintain the synthetic saddle with straightforward cleaning and care.

This makes it an excellent option for busy riders looking for a low-maintenance horse saddle that can handle regular use.

Why Choose the Wintec 2000 Wide?

If your horse has a wide back, broad conformation or flatter withers, finding a suitable saddle can make a significant difference to comfort and performance. The Wintec 2000 Wide is designed specifically to provide a wider fit while giving riders the benefits of Wintec’s adjustable HART technology.

The combination of wide-fit design, CAIR cushioning, EASY-CHANGE adjustment and Elastiflex Tree technology gives riders greater flexibility when managing saddle fit.

As your horse’s body changes through training or conditioning, the adjustable systems can be modified where appropriate rather than relying on a permanently fixed saddle configuration.

Remember that adjustable technology does not replace professional saddle fitting. The saddle should always be assessed on your individual horse to ensure correct balance, clearance and freedom of movement.
