Designed for Trail Riding
The Teton Flex2 is made for riders who spend time outside the arena. Its trail-oriented design provides a supportive Western riding platform for weekend trail rides, countryside adventures, hacking, pleasure riding and general Western horsemanship.
A well-fitted trail saddle should help the rider maintain a balanced position while allowing the horse to move naturally across different terrain.
Flex2 Tree Technology
The Flex2 tree is a key feature of this Circle Y trail saddle. It is designed to combine the structure of a Western saddle with controlled flexibility.
However, a flexible tree does not guarantee a universal fit. Every horse has a different back shape, shoulder width and conformation. Before riding, check:
- Wither clearance
- Spinal clearance
- Shoulder freedom
- Tree width
- Saddle balance
- Saddle stability
- Overall horse comfort
Professional saddle-fitting advice is recommended if you are unsure about compatibility.
14″ to 17″ Seat Sizes
The 14″ to 17″ seat range makes this saddle suitable for riders with different body proportions and riding preferences.
The correct Western saddle seat size depends on your height, hip width, thigh length, preferred riding position and the shape of the saddle itself.
Always compare the saddle measurements with a saddle you already find comfortable where possible.
Suitable for Multiple Riding Activities
The Circle Y Julie Goodnight Teton Flex2 Trail Saddle can be used for:
Trail Riding: A practical choice for outdoor riding and trail adventures.
Pleasure Riding: Enjoy relaxed recreational Western riding.
Ranch Riding: Suitable for general ranch and outdoor equestrian activities.
Hacking: A versatile option for riders who prefer Western tack outside the arena.

Rider Comfort & Stability
Trail rides can involve several hours in the saddle, making rider comfort and saddle stability important considerations. The Teton Flex2 provides a supportive Western-style seat designed for general trail and recreational riding.
For the best riding experience, the saddle should be correctly fitted to both horse and rider.
