Designed for High Withered Horses

Finding a suitable saddle for a high-withered horse can be challenging. A saddle needs to provide sufficient wither clearance while remaining stable and balanced during movement. The Wintec 2000 High Wither All Purpose has been specifically developed to address these requirements.

Its high-wither design helps provide clearance around the horse’s withers, while the super-soft panels are designed to mould around the horse’s muscles and individual conformation. This helps maintain close contact between horse and rider while supporting a balanced saddle position. (Wintec Saddles Germany)

If you are searching for a saddle for high withers, high wither all purpose saddle, or Wintec saddle for high-withered horses, this model is an excellent option to consider.

HART – Horse And Rider Technology

The Wintec 2000 High Wither features HART (Horse And Rider Technology), combining several technologies designed to enhance comfort, fit and performance.

The HART system incorporates the CAIR Cushion System, EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution, Elastiflex Tree, Performance Panel Technology and Comfort Seat Technology. Together, these systems are designed to provide a more adaptable and supportive saddle experience for both horse and rider. (Bahr Saddlery)

CAIR Cushion System

The CAIR Cushion System replaces traditional saddle-panel filling with air cushions. The air-filled panels are designed to adapt to the horse’s working muscles and distribute the rider’s weight across the panel area, helping reduce concentrated pressure points. (Horse Saddle Shop)

This makes CAIR an important feature for riders looking for a comfortable horse saddle, saddle with air panels, or a saddle designed to provide fluid cushioning during movement.

EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution

The EASY-CHANGE Fit Solution gives riders the ability to adjust the saddle to accommodate changes in the horse’s shape and musculature. It combines the EASY-CHANGE Gullet System with the EASY-CHANGE Riser System, allowing the saddle fit to be fine-tuned as required. (Horse Saddle Shop)

This adjustability can be particularly useful for horses whose topline changes with conditioning, training, age or seasonal weight fluctuations.

The saddle is supplied with a green gullet plate as standard according to current product specifications; always check the configuration supplied with your order. (Waldhausen)

Elastiflex Tree for Flexibility

The Elastiflex Tree is engineered with a rigid head to help maintain clearance over the horse’s withers while allowing lateral flexion to work with the horse’s movement. This provides a combination of stability and flexibility designed to support freedom of movement. (Adams Horse Supply)

For riders who want a flexible English saddle, Wintec all purpose saddle, or saddle designed to accommodate the horse’s movement, the Elastiflex Tree is a valuable part of the HART design.

Comfortable, Secure Rider Position

The Wintec 2000 High Wither is designed with a balanced, grippy and supportive seat to help the rider maintain a secure position. The deep, super-soft seat provides comfort for longer rides, while the ergonomic design helps encourage a natural leg position and effective communication with the horse. (Wintec Saddles Germany)

The saddle also features a changeable stirrup keeper, allowing riders greater flexibility when setting up their preferred riding position. (Wintec Saddles Germany)
